I'm a mother who is constantly in awe of how quickly childhood moves. My children are my greatest creations, and there's a deep pull in me to preserve who they are in this exact season -- their expressions, their softness, the little details I know will change before I'm ready. That feeling, paired with my infatuation for the family portrait passed down to me from the 1800's, inspired Heirlooms & Hue. It brought interest and honor to my ancestors whose stories I would have never known with out their beautifully preserved portrait that lives on in our family.

Today, so many of our most cherished photos live on our phones instead of preserved on our walls. I don't want my children's childhood to live hidden in a camera roll; I want it to be celebrated on our walls -- a daily reminder to them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

After your session, you'll select from a curated collection of hand-made frames and I will guide you through the design process to create an heirloom portrait made to be displayed, cherished, and passed down for generations.

Most families plan to invest between $350-$1,500 on their custom artwork collection. When browsing my Frame Shop please note that when a custom frame, locket, pastel, or hand colored portrait is decided on first, my retail frames become discounted by 50%.

My goal is not simply to deliver digital images, but to help you create tangible heirlooms your children will grow up seeing on the walls of your home -- and one day in their homes.
